Located in Northern Florida, this partnership between the Department of Juvenile Justice, Rite of Passage, and the TRF highlights the transformative impact of horses in a youth setting. We’re proud to support this second Florida-based juvenile program, where the DJJ recognizes the value of equine work for the young people in their care. Oak Grove Academy is a residential program for moderate-risk boys aged 14–19. With four retired racehorses on-site, the TRF is helping provide second chances to the approximately 40 youth who reside there.
